Treasured for its natural streams, falls and pools, Fall Creek Falls State Park has the tallest straight-drop waterfall in the Eastern region, 256 feet from top to bottom. Other, smaller waterfalls are no less impressive, and a number of hiking trails lead past clear, rushing creeks to high scenic overlooks. Developed recreational areas at the park include an 18-hole golf course, nature center, swimming pool and playgrounds. A 70-mile drive north from Chattanooga, the park's campground, cabins and inn provide an excellent way to spend multiple days exploring what the park has to offer.
Open year round.
Free entry. Overnight rates vary.
